The slashed allocations were intended to create new school personnel positions and implement the DepEd Computerization Program (DCP) and the Basic Education Facilities Fund.

According to the group, the Department of Trade and Industry’s (DTI) Bureau of Philippine Standards (BPS) is seeking feedback from stakeholders on recommendations to follow several measures as they received a bulletin from the government body informing them of five international standards on textiles published by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) intended for adoption under the Philippine National Standards (PNS).

The PCO said that although Tesda’s budget rose to P20.73 billion in the 2025 General Appropriations Act from P18.50 billion in the National Expenditure Program, some of its key programs were left without funds this year.

These Tesda projects included the creation of Enterprise-based Training Office and the establishment of New Regional Office for Negros Island Region.golden palasyo
